Azekel's vocal on 'New Romance' brings to mind some of The Weeknd's best early work. Introspective, soulful, imperfect - it's complimented by a glitch-ridden, stumbling beat, mutated James Blake-style synth swells, and the occasional aromatic puff of brass. A fine comeback from the increasingly slick East Londoner.
